About SUF
Who are we?
Socialist YouthFront (Socialistisk UngdomsFront - SUF) is a revolutionary socialist organisation for and by young, active socialists in Denmark. We fight for another world than the one we know today: a world where the people decide instead of profits. In our current economical, social and political reality it is the rich executives and the powerful shareholders who control the economy, while the people are forced to work for someone else's profits just to be able to survive. Our goal is a democratic socialist revolution in which people take back control over their own lives and what belongs to them. We fight against oppression of all kinds, and that is why it is a central part of our struggle to be feminists and anti-fascists - and that we fight against oppression and alongside in solidarity with ethnic minorities, people with disabilities and members of the LGBQTIA+ communities.
We are activists!
Talking is not enough when the goal is to change our world, and that is why SUF is an activist-based organisation. This means that we engage in the struggle for better conditions, both in our local SUF-branches and wherever we spend our daily lives – in our communities, at our workplaces and in our schools. We have a high activity level and are determined to reach our goal! We believe in changing our society from the bottom – therefore we work in our student organisations, labour unions and other progressive movements. We consider ourselves as a part of the same political tendency as the Danish parliamentary party The Red-Green Alliance and work closely with them.
